Deanna Bullock, M.S., Licensed Associate Counselor
Practice self-appreciation. Become who you love and respect.
A Short History
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and I work with individuals who have experienced trauma. I am guided by a framework that seeks to support patients overcome and integrate their trauma wisdom into the expansion of their life story so that they may lead a more joyful, purposeful and productive life.
I believe that one’s past does not have to define or limit their future. I became a helping professional to help those who may feel stuck or trapped, by their past experiences, develop the confidence to live fulfilling lives.
I have research experience with PTSD and have a passion with helping individuals process and recover from their trauma, integrating psychoeducation on the impact trauma has on one’s physiology into treatment.
My undergraduate degree is in Animal Science, and I have the long-term goal of one day practicing Animal Assisted Therapy. My desire is to connect and normalize the experience of trauma through both talk therapy and by providing psychoeducation on the science behind trauma and the brain.
