Lauren Stein

Lauren Stein, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process in which client and therapist work together to create growth and long-lasting results.

A Short History

I became a helping professional to foster the healing of others by creating safe spaces in therapy and building a trusting therapeutic relationship.

My passion lies within working with individuals, families, and couples using a systemic, strength-based approach to help clients meet their goals and develop healthy coping skills.

I am a Master’s level clinician specializing in marital and family counseling. I graduated from Fairfield University with an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy and from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.

I have experience working with survivors of domestic violence and abuse, families and children, adolescents, and adults. Other areas of my experience include mood disorders, grief and loss, anxiety disorders, sexuality and sexual dysfunction, divorce/remarriage, and multicultural issues.
